Good day everyone! It has been an exciting week thus far with two wins and three more matches booked for myself in various companies, including Premier Fighting. As you saw, I proved everything I said about Brandon Mercer one hundred percent correct. I'll admit, he put up a decent fight against me ...but a lot of that was because I lit a fire under his ass earlier in the week. Had I not, you'll see the effort you are seeing from him now for his coming match: which is none at all. It must suck to give it your all, and your all isn't good enough. It must be even worse to have your performance judged and that judgment objectively says it wasn't enough. And this why we don't sleep on our opponents. Even then, we put on the best match of the night. The two of us stole the show, albeit because I had to prod you to such a quality performance. But there is no reason you couldn't have shook my hand or congratulated me afterwards. Instead, you have gone silent. You have gone mute. Essentially, you let me cancel you. You let me do exactly what I wanted to do: end the line of toxic masculinity that inherited from the likes of Matt Stone and Tony Savage. And with that silence, you've admitted to yourself that I was right all along. So, you are welcome for this revelation about your futility as a performer.
But now we looks towards this coming addition of Affliction, not only may I have a chance to be apart of this International Tournament if my name is drawn, but I am going to be in the Main Event tag team contest of the evening. I'll be teaming with Britney Anders against Ryanne Stone and Tony Savage. As I said, it looks like I made it to his pay scale quicker than he thought I would. Perhaps maybe he should re-evaluate the situation he is in and the stuff he says. He ran away from a challenge last week and now that challenge is on his door step. I'm in what he probably considers his territory of the main event. In fact, I'm sure he isn't all too pleased that management here sees it my way and he isn't being handed back his championship, so he could lose it and then run away from the company to make the same claims and live the same old Tony Savage story somewhere else. His career is literally the movie "Groundhog's Day." But I've already said a lot about Creepy Uncle Tony. I am actually going to focus on the other troubling element in our match: Ryanne Stone.
For those of you who have not been paying attention, there has been some controversy on twitter about Miss Stone's actions at the re-debut of Affliction from Las Vegas. After winning her match, Britney Anders was attacked by Miss Stone, completely ruining her moment. Yes, you heard me right, she took a cheap shot at Miss Anders in what she writes as "just a surprise" and "not personal."
Well, while me and Britney certainly do not see eye to eye on many things, I think we both can agree that not only was this attack egregious, but it reinforces a terrible gender stereotype that women are catty and will turn against each other at the drop of a hot. It shows that there are women who are jealous and willing to take a moment of victory from another woman. It is female on female violence and IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AS LONG AS I AM AROUND. And it is the pettiest form of female violence. It is one out of contempt for another woman's success. We are supposed to lift each other when another of us is victorious, not tear each other down because somebody has something they do not.
But the most concerning part of all of this is that Miss Stone doesn't believe that she has done anything wrong. She does not thing that what she did was a betrayal of her gender. She pleads innocence because she was just trying to "surprise" everyone with her appearance. I never heard of this woman in my life and I know the business well enough to know that Tony Savage is journeyman who turns his back on companies when he gets what he wants ...so I should know of this woman if her appearance was supposed to be such a momentous moment. Even then, she chose this big reveal when another woman was celebrating a win, sneak attacking her in the process. Taking that huge main event moment away from her ...and then says it wasn't personal. But it was.
If you are going to put yourself in a such a high profile position as to steal the thunder away from the woman who won the main event, AT LEAST OWN UP TO IT. Instead, you are denying it. She is making up flimsy excuses as to why what she did was completely justified. She even goes so far as to say it was because of Miss Ander's social media presence and how she holds herself. That's victim blaming at it's fullest. You might as well have just said that she had it coming because of what she was wearing. Also, you have given a lot of excuses that don't match up with each other.
You would get more respect had you come out and said "Yeah, I did it because I wanted the main event slot that she has." But instead, you just keep digging that hole you are in.
What's even more infuriating is that she has been rewarded for this behavior. She chose to embrace a negative gender stereotype by attacking another woman during a celebration in the main event, and now she finds herself in said main event scene. Britney, for as much as I disagree with her lifestyle, has earned her way to the top. Even in her bio, she states that she struggled for a long time, but worked her way up the card to the top. Her win at Affliction just reinforces that she earned that spot. I got match of the night out Brand "hype has nothing to do with wrestling" Mercer and thus have earned my position on this night. Even Tony Savage won his match at Affliction, earning his spot. That's the only time you are going to hear my say this. And what did you do to get it? What match did you win? What obstacle did you overcome? You took a cheap shot on a woman when her back was turned. That's it. That's all you did and you had the gall to take to twitter say that you earned your spot.
Not the way the other competitors did. We earned it the right way. You earned it by being petty and jealous of another woman's success.
Fortunately, there is some justice in the world because Tony Savage notoriously watches out for himself AND ONLY himself. He is going to have no problem letting you struggle out there against two women that REALLY do have something to prove against two people who just want things the easy way. He wants to make fun of the mentally disabled and get cheered while the company hands him titles he can put on his resume before he leaves. You want to beat up your own gender to get in the main event. Me and Britney, odd couple we are, we want to work for our rewards and our spots. You're a person who wants to steal them working with a man that wants them given to him. There is no way you are walking out of this with a win. You know that, right?
Essentially, you wronged her by taking her moment away, but you wronged ME by reinforcing a negative stereotype about our gender. You want female on female violence. You want to be made an example of? Fine, Ryanne, we will do just that at Affliction. Because you don't go into the ring of progress and send us back twenty years without a little bit of punishment. And I don't want to do it. The three of us should be standing together and those that want a free inside. Instead, you have chosen to sell out and cash in on that ride. You took her moment to commit an act of betrayal just to earn you a chance to be in the main event. Congratulations. We are going to send you right back out of it.
